DAVID BROADBENT

2811 Sport Media founder and Managing Director, David Broadbent, has a wealth of experience within the sports sponsorship world.

David has held senior commercial management positions at a number of football clubs and has completed deals including stadium naming rights, front of shirt sponsorships, stand naming rights among many others. Within football David has worked in every division, from the Championship to National League North and has experienced promotion and relegation and the effects that has on a Club.

Away from football David has worked on agreements within; Rugby League, Hockey, Ice Hockey and Netball both on behalf of Clubs and on behalf of businesses.

Away from sport we have experience of working with businesses to develop marketing plans, write press releases and advise on events, as well as hosting and organising events from fashion shows, comedy nights and sporting dinners.

2811 Sport Media Football Development Consultant Lee Croft enjoyed a glittering professional career spanning over 15 years.

Coming through the Manchester City Academy Lee represented England at a number of youth levels, including the 2003 Under 20’s World Cup. Throughout his career Lee played for Manchester City, Norwich City, Derby County and Oldham Athletic. Lee also enjoyed a spell in Scotland playing for St. Johnstone where he was part of the side that won the 2014 Scottish Cup for the first time in the Club’s history. Lee is also the most capped England youth international player.

Making just under 400 senior appearances, Croft won the player of the year award at both Norwich City and Oldham Athletic. Throughout his playing career Lee showed an interest in the media side of the game with regular appearances on Soccer AM.

In January 2018 Lee brought his playing career to a close to concentrate on his future career within the business and media side of football.

Since retirement Lee has featured on BBC Radio Manchester, Talksport, BBC Radio Norfolk and Goal, offering co-commentary, expert analysis and summarising. He is equally at home in the studio or doing live stadium based commentary. Lee is also comfortable on television and on social media platforms such as facebook live.

ANTHONY DAGLISH

Based in County Durham, Anthony’s background stems from the commercial financial services arena, over the years he has built up a vast array of contacts on both UK and overseas soil.

More recently he has been appointed commercial director of Club Supporter, a new and innovative app that has been designed to help bridge the gap between fans and the day to day fund raising challenges most sport clubs and charities find themselves facing in this tough modern day way of life.

Anthony has a passion for all things sport related and is looking forward to becoming a key part of  2811 Sport Media on their quest for growth in 2019. Anthony will be concentrating on the North East and Scotland, working alongside both businesses and clubs to develop effective partnerships.
